I know it seems like oatmeal and avocado and almond shouldn't go together, but in nature's grace-filled saponification process, the resulting lotion effect of using this soap is a thing of decadence and sophistication. You may have to make it your routine shower soap. Or perhaps you may choose to show off with this soap in your guest bathroom. You will find yourself wanting to take a bite out of the bar.
My somewhat ravenous teenagers, both my son and my daughter, say this is their favorite soap bar and they shower with it religiously. I think that's because the scent hints of almond, oatmeal, milk, and honey. And their teenage skin seems to be less prone to acne now, since they have been using it. Their skin looks so even and silky anyway. It is hard to tell which came first, the chicken or the egg. When discussing this dilemma about the beneficial results of using this soap, my son, a Philosophy major, quoted the Latin phrase "Post hoc, non ergo, propter hoc." In English, "After the fact, not therefore, because of the fact." He contends that this logic applied here means: that just because his skin is so nice after using the soap, it does not necessarily follow that using the soap caused his skin to be that way. It supposedly could have been caused by something else. Whatever . . .
